Mr. and C. R. BLACK celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary, Sunday July 5, (1953), at home, with an open house. The door prize was won by Mrs. MASTERSON. Mr. and Mrs. BLACK were the recipients of many nice and useful gifts, and each guest bringing a covered dish, a sumptuous noon-day dinner was enjoyed. A large cake decorated with pink candy roses was in the center of the table. To commemorate the occasion, the couple will host a reception on the lawn of their residence from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday. All friends and relatives are invited to the event.
