L. WILLIAMS of Flemington, Missouri (in Polk County), were married on Thursday morning, November 17, (____), the Reverend William Varble officiating at his home on the hill (in Cloverport).      The ceremony was said in the presence of only the immediate family, and girlfriends of the bride.      She is a graduate of the local high school, where she was an honor student, and for years coached students of the school at the cottage home of her grandmother, where she has resided since childhood.     More than a year ago, Miss CARMAN, through a correspondence bureau became interested in letters received from a Mr. Williams, and early in the summer he came to Kentucky to meet the young woman, whom he had known only through the mails.  While here, plans were made for an Autumn wedding, and after the ceremony was said Thursday, they left immediately for his farm home in Flemington.      On Thursday night of last week, a party was given for the couple in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Everett NOBLE, and a large number of friends participated in the kitchen and linen shower. ___________________________________________ Breckinridge County Marriage Book-52  Page-99 Married on November 17, 1938 Dorothy CARMAN and S.
