CAMPBELL of Garfield.      Chaplain Ray Howton of Fort Knox performed the double-ring ceremony under an arch of silk Stephanotis and greenery accented with light blue bows.      A selection of wedding music, including the traditional wedding march, was played on the organ by Mrs. Juanita ALEXANDER.      The bride entered the Sanctuary on the arm of her father who escorted her to the altar where she was given in marriage by both her parents. The Reverend Pollock performed the ceremony. They were accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Estel TABOR and children. (Estel is Vernon's brother) ________________________________________________ I have searched and searched on Ancestry.com, and I cannot find any record of this marriage. They divorced. His full name is Vernon Bell TABOR, Sr., and he has a single tombstone in the Garfield Cemetery in Breckinridge County. Vernon and Agnes had 2 children, Vernon Bell TABOR, Jr. and Michael G. TABOR both of Florida in 1993. Agnes was born in Garfield, no date of birth in her obituary, and her age at death was not given either. I can't find her birth record (probably born before 1911). Agnes was cremated. Vernon married at least 3 times. His last wife was Mrs. Ruby Dell PENNINGTON HUDDLESTON, whom he married November 4, 1946 in Jeffersonville, Clark County, Indiana. ___________________________________ I did find Agnes's second marriage: Breckinridge County Marriage Book-13A Page-137 Married on July 17, 1948 Agnes BRUNER and Snead V.
