He died in Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky on December 20, 1948 from Exhaustion and Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia. Born in Grayson County on October 5, 1894. (To find him on Ancestry again, he is listed under "Elizabeth Ferdman Fentress". His first name on the certificate clearly shows Elijah. Transcriber saw Elizabeth.).
